How do you describe your photography style?
I like to mix a traditional style with photojournalism. I like bold colors and classic black and whites, but like any good photographer, I listen to what my client likes and incorporate that into my work.

How many weddings have you photographed?
That’s a good question and to be honest, I’ve lost track. When I first started as a wedding photographer, I worked as a second photographer under my mentor. I signed a non-complete clause so those weddings are not represented on my portfolio. But, as a primary photographer, I’ve been photographing weddings for over two years.

Where are you located and do you travel?
I’m located in the beautiful and historic Richmond, Virginia. Most of my shoots take place in the metro area, but I love to travel. I love destination weddings and would be more than happy to help you with yours!

What should my fiance and I wear for our engagement shoot?
Always a very important question and there are a lot of tips on how to make the best of it. You can read my tips here.

Can we meet to talk over details?
Of course! Give me a call or shoot me an email and we can set up a free consultation. I usually meet my clients at a coffee shop or something similar close to your home and we discuss your big day and what you’re looking for.

How long before my weddings should I do my bridal portraits?
At least four weeks. You want to have enough time to have your dress cleaned and have your photo printed.

What sort of time frame is it to get my photos?
It usually takes about four to six weeks for your wedding photos. Remember each photo is looked at and corrected to it’s best before it’s given  to you.

We’re sold! We want you to be our photographer, now what?
First, thank you! Contact me and we will set up our consultation. I will bring a copy of the contract for us to fill out and you will pay your standard 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Now it’s time to be excited!
