Parachute at the Stone Pony

Charlottesville, Virginia boys, Parachute, were back to rock the Stone Pony. Drawing in yet another huge crowd, Will Anderson and company had the audience had everyone dancing, singing and hanging on every word. As a former Virginian and someone who’s followed the career of Parachute since their inception, it thrills me to see them to do so well in my new home.

Plain White T’s at the Stone Pony

Co-headlining with Parachute was Chicago’s own Plain White T’s. They’ve came a long way since “Hey There Delilah” and have several hits under their belt. They previewed some new music and it sounds pretty good!

Tommy And The High Pilots at the Stone Pony

I had the absolute pleasure of being introduced to the music of Tommy and the High Pilots out of Santa Barbara, California who opened the night for Plain White T’s and Parachute. Sadly, I hadn’t heard of them prior, but after the show I purchased all four CD’s and chatted with the band. If you love catchy popcentric tunes, a charismatic lead singer and just a fun set, you’ll LOVE Tommy and the High Pilots; they are a must see!
